吴也，1987年生，现任武汉理工大学理学院物理系副教授、硕士研究生导师。

科学研究
Ø 高压物理：研究凝聚态物质在高温高压下的结构和物理性质，并探索物质的高压行为机制；高温高压下探索合成新材料、新结构，并表征其物理化学性质。
Ø 地球物理：采用动静高压实验装置及其相关的测试分析技术，研究地球内部矿物在高温高压下的结构、状态方程、声速和弹性性质等。
主持国家自然科学基金一项，参与两项。
